Earn More
for Every View.
When you post videos on YouTube Shorts that use music, YouTube divides the ad revenue into two categories: The Creator Pool and the Music Licensing Pool.
As a creator, your earnings primarily come from the Creator Pool.
Soundvio is an official YouTube Partner that can identify and collect revenue from your videos that YouTube has allocated to the Music Licensing Pool. This revenue is typically unavailable to creators as it's for the purpose of covering music licensing costs.
Normally, 100% of the revenue in the Music Licensing Pool goes to the music rights holders (musicians and record labels) - meaning that if you're using someone else's music in your videos, but don't have a licensing deal with them, they are entitled to keep 100% of that music licensing pool revenue.
However, by partnering with Soundvio, you can reclaim the revenue lost to music licensing—Soundvio holds the largest library of viral music on social media in partnership with Create Music Group.
Soundvio shares 50% of the reclaimed Music Licensing Pool revenue with you as the creator, meaning you get a larger share of the total YouTube Shorts ad revenue than you would otherwise.
Soundvio operates on an invite-only basis and charges no upfront fees for its services.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Was Soundvio's Royalties / RPM affected by the recent March 1, 2025 update?
Yes. We've previously communicated that we were unaffected, however this has recently changed based on new developments. Read the full update: Link
Do I need to be monetized to work with Soundvio?
Yes, we currently only accept channels who are enrolled in the YouTube Partner Program. Although some competitors may not enforce this requirement, bypassing it could potentially violate YouTube’s policies, and we are committed to remaining fully compliant.
How do I track my earnings?
Soundvio will provide you with transparent insights into your monthly earnings through our monthly revenue statements. We are currently in the process of building a portal where you'll be able to monitor your analytics.
How are payments made?
You can choose from various payment methods—PayPal, Wire Transfer, Local Bank Transfer, or SEPA Transfer—via our partnership with Tipalti, a leading financial automation platform. Payouts are processed monthly at the end of each month.
Please note that earnings are only eligible for a payout after a minimum of 45 days from signing our agreement and if it passes the minimum threshold of $100. For example, if you sign up in mid-March, your first payout will likely be issued at the end of April rather than the end of March. The payout is dependent on when we receive the money from YouTube.
What is Soundvio's RPM?
Soundvio’s RPM isn’t a metric that we set; it’s determined by YouTube. RPM, (or revenue per thousand views), depends on factors such as ad types, audience demographics, geographic location, and overall engagement, all of which are controlled by YouTube’s monetization system.
To provide an estimate of potential earnings through Soundvio, we would need to know your specific current RPM, as it varies from creator to creator. With that data, we could better approximate how much you might earn by partnering with Soundvio.
Can I Use Music From Other Artists (or rightsholders) In My Video, while also using music from Soundvio?
Yes! But this might affect your final payout amount.
Do I need to meet any specific conditions to join?
Our minimum requirements are that you must have at least 5 million monthly views on YouTube Shorts, and be monetized through the YouTube Partner Program.
Does Soundvio Cost Anything?
No. Soundvio is completely free to start working with, and you don't have to pay us anything to get started.
How much Revenue will I receive?
Your revenue from Soundvio is influenced by several factors including the number of monetized views, your audience’s location, engagement levels, demographics, and overall music usage per country. These elements are determined by YouTube and fall outside of Soundvio’s control, which means earnings can vary significantly from one creator to another. Ultimately, Soundvio will collect the revenue and provide you with a 50% share.
Why did you remove the pricing calculator?
The pricing calculator, while providing accurate estimates, created a lot of confusion for users interested in joining Soundvio. We're working on revamping it to provide a better user experience.
